SINCE 1996

In Kato Toumba since 1996.

Karnagio opened its doors in Kato Toumba in 1996 as a traditional Greek fish taverna. But our father’s love for the good old Greek popular song soon gave Karnagio a new identity.

A few years later, Karnagio was completely transformed into a warm space of wood, brick, stone and hand-painted murals.

And so Karnagio... meta mousikis was born.

THE MUSIC

Ever since, music has been the reason people come here.

Greek songs, played live and without pretence. Tributes to the composers and eras we love. Nights that begin softly and end with the whole room singing.

CONTINUITY

Over thirty years, guests who first came here as students have returned with their own children. Some tables have carried the same name since the ’90s.

That continuity matters more to us than anything.

We never changed who we are. We grew up together with our guests.

THE FAMILY TODAY

Today, the family has grown.

Four children, six grandchildren and a second generation now stand alongside the parents, carrying on what they started — keeping the principles and values Karnagio was built on firm and unchanged.
